A course designed specifically for LL.B. students from civil law jurisdictions who want to study in U.S. law schools the following year. Generally taught over 32 hours to a group of ~25 students at universities.

Introduction to the U.S. Legal System

Lessons focused on the common law, the U.S. Constitution, federalism, separation of powers, checks and balances, and current events.

Introduction to U.S. Legal Writing

Lessons focused on comparing and distinguishing precedent, legal analysis, the IRAC method, writing an inter-office memorandum, and an appellate brief.

Introduction to U.S. Legal Education

Lessons focused on the Socratic method, writing case briefs, answering hypothetical questions, issue spotting on final exams, and applying to U.S. law schools.
